I really don't care for crunches.  (I would say "hate," but I tell my kids that that's not a nice word...so I better not use it).  I can do tons of crunches and it hurts while I'm doing it, but I never feel sore the next day (that is how I gauge the effectiveness of my workouts...if I'm sore the next day, I worked hard the day before...I find that I am sore a lot).  So I am always on the lookout for good ab workouts that do NOT include crunches, but still make me a little sore...I found this one on Pinterest, and Dianne and I did it at the gym before busting out the weights.  You could probably do this one at home depending on how creative you are, but it does require some equipment...Click on the picture for the full routine...

There are 8 serious moves...please read the "full disclosure" on move #9...we definitely modified that one!  My opinion...the routine says to go through each of the 8 moves one time.  I think it would have been a lot more effective if we had done it 2 or 3 times.  It did take about 20 minutes, but part of that time was just figuring out how to do the moves.  I think if we did it again and had all of our equipment set out in the beginning, we could do 2 sets in 20 minutes.  I was a little sore the next day...but, again, think we should have done it twice for better results.

Let us know what you think if you give this one a try!
