We'll provide the framework for success, you'll need to provide the HARD WORK for success!  We don't believe in making ridiculous claims.  If you want to reach your goal (whatever it may be) you're going to have to put in the EFFORT to get there.  

 

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

 

1.  Use your team/support system...they are there for a reason, not just for when you are doing well!  Reach out to them when you are struggling (it happens to all of us from time to time) and ask for support and encouragement.  Be sure that as a teammate you are also OFFERING that support before someone has to ask for it as well.   

 

2.  Don't try to get healthy for someone else...evaluate why YOU want to live a healthier life.  When it gets difficult, you'll need to rely on your own personal reasons for hanging in there and pushing through.

 

3.  Make your personal goal ATTAINABLE... stop looking to supermodels and body builders as the standard!  They don't even look that good!  No really, every single photograph published in a magazine has been edited and retouched in some form or another, whether it be makeup, lighting, smoothing, shading or shaving off inches, the image has been altered.  So literally...they don't even look as good as they...er...look.  If you have a significant amount of weight to lose don't expect to lose it all at once, aim for around 1-2 lbs a week.  That will give you a steady loss that will be easier to maintain because you will have the time to change your HABITS along the way, thus not rebounding and gaining it all back.

 

4.  Choose a reward that you will ACTUALLY work for...it need not be extravagant to be effective, but you'll want to make it something that is important to YOU!!

 

5.  Have FUN & have a good attitude about trying something new!  Getting out of your comfort zone can really open your eyes to a whole world of activity that you may not have ever explored on your own.  You don't have to be a size zero or super buff to go out and ENJOY the world around you!
