What a great start to the Fall FIT Challenge! We’re excited to see how you’ve all caught the fire of commitment to your health goals. You’re consistently exercising, hydrating, connecting with others who have similar goals (loving the solo FB group), filling your body with nutrient dense vegetable and fruits, expanding your mind through personal development, and of course the most difficult for the majority of people...limiting sweets. These all seem like such basic things that you’ve likely heard you should be incorporating into your life. You may have even thought about implementing some or all of these for a while but now you’re doing it. You’re actually doing it!! And we couldn’t be more proud. Just look at these week one results. You’re all amazing!
Keep up the good work everyone. As you continue through this week, I highly encourage you to look for patterns in your eating as you log your food. Do you tend to eat more or less nutritious foods in relation to certain emotions? If you are seeing some patterns, journal those, too! Once you start recognizing patterns in behavior, you can start to do something about it. You can make a plan to cope with those emotions (good or bad) in a more constructive way. If you’re not sure what to do instead of reaching for those comforting cupcakes or crunching to the bottom of a chip bag, check out this post for ideas.
